Private Recital

Families may schedule private recitals at the studio for a cost of $30 for a 60-90 minute time slot.  Chairs, tables, CD player, piano, keyboard, and any other resources on site will be available for you.  There are 3 tables available for use and approximately 30-40 chairs.  If you would like anything set up for you, there will be an additional $15 charge.  If you plan to have refreshments, you will be asked to remove any trash and take it with you.

Cancellation/Late Arrival:

Refunds and credit will not be issued for cancelled or missed lessons, regardless of reason.   Payment for lessons is a contract to secure that time slot throughout the school year.  However, if student anticipates an absence, advance notice is expected and appreciated.

In case of teacher cancellation, credit will be issued.

For late arrivals, missed minutes will not be made up.  Lesson will still end at scheduled time.

If a student wishes to withdraw from lessons, they must give 60 day notice and will still be required to pay for lessons during that time period unless the teacher is able to fill that slot.

Recitals:

There will be 1-2 recitals/concerts per year.  A recital may be held either early December or early January.  The spring recital will be held in April/early May.

Participation in recitals is mandatory (aside from exceptional circumstances).  Notice will be given as far in advance as possible so that the date may be reserved on the student’s calendar.  Every effort will be made to secure these dates in August or September.  Students participating in group lessons will not be required to sing solo until they are ready, but will be required to participate in a duet or small group performance.
